Do I need bloodwork before starting treatment?

Yes, every patient completes a full lab assessment before any prescription. This ensures the proper dosage tailored to your needs and goals. 

When prescribed and monitored by a physician, TRT is considered safe and effective. As with any medication there are potential side effects and these should be discussed with your physician. 

 

Most men notice improvement within 4–6 weeks; physical changes may take 8–12 weeks, depending on activity levels.
TRT can temporarily reduce sperm production so may not be appropriate for you if you are currently trying to conceive. Alternatives are available and your physician will discuss these with you as needed.
